MyXCapital

Personal finance app by Xtra‑Dev

Know what is due, what is coming and what to do about it.

MyXCapital puts every bank account, card and loan in one place, warns you before a payment is due or a fee hits, turns your debts into a payoff plan and lets you invoice your own clients. Built for people who want answers, not spreadsheets.

Create your account in a minute. Plans from $9.99 a month, 50% off your first month.

What you get

One app for the money you have, the money you owe and the money you are owed.

Connect your accounts once. MyXCapital reads the balances and transactions, organizes them and tells you what matters this week.

Alerts that arrive before the fee

A payment coming due, due today or overdue. An overdraft fee your bank charged, or an account that will not cover the next payments. A card near its limit. Interest charged. Each alert says what to do and links to the account.

Bills and subscriptions, detected

Recurring charges are found in your transactions and grouped with their expected amount and next date. A subscription you cancelled that keeps charging you is flagged in red.

Debt and loans with a real plan

Every card and loan with its balance and APR, each payment split into interest and principal, and a payoff plan by avalanche or snowball with your debt-free date. A what-if simulator shows what an extra payment changes.

Savings goals

Set a goal, pick an account, add contributions and watch the progress. Net worth, categorized spending and budgets stay in the same overview.

An assistant that asks first

Ask about your money in plain language. When the assistant suggests a change, such as recategorizing transactions or creating a rule, it shows a proposal, applies it only with your permission, and every applied action can be undone.

Invoice your own clients

Freelancer or small business? Create invoices with your branding, send them, and get paid online. You receive the full invoice amount: the processing fee is added for the payer.

Alerts center

The expensive surprises, caught while there is still time.

MyXCapital computes alerts from the data already in your workspace and ranks them: what to pay first, what would cost money soon, what already did. Mark one as handled and it stays quiet until the next occurrence.

  • Payment due, due today or overdue, with the minimum and the date
  • Overdraft fee charged, and overdraft risk before upcoming payments
  • Card near its limit and interest charged on a card
  • Delivered as a daily email digest and, in the Android app, as push notifications
MyXCapital payoff plan: a monthly budget for debt, avalanche versus snowball strategy, the debt-free date, months remaining and total interest, and the order in which cards are paid

Debt and loans

A debt-free date you can actually see.

Enter the monthly budget you can put toward debt. MyXCapital pays every minimum, sends the rest to the target debt and rolls freed-up minimums forward, month by month, until the last balance is gone. Switch between avalanche (highest APR first, least interest) and snowball (smallest balance first, quickest wins) and see the difference in dollars.

  • Cards and loans with balance, APR and the interest you are paying
  • Each loan payment split into interest and principal
  • What-if simulator: what one extra payment does to the date and the interest
You bill$1,000.00
Your client pays$1,040.30
You receive$1,000.00

The 4% + $0.30 processing fee is added for the payer. Invoices paid outside the app carry no fee.

Invoicing

Get paid the full amount, without doing the math.

Create an invoice with your logo and your numbering, add an optional sales tax at your rate, and send it. Your client pays online with a card from a US bank or another supported method, and the money lands in your account.

  • Online payment available from $250 per invoice; smaller invoices are sent and marked paid by hand
  • Optional instant deposit for an additional 1.5%
  • Reminders, payment status and a PDF for every invoice

Security and privacy

Your bank login never touches MyXCapital.

You authorize each connection directly with Plaid, in Plaid's own window. MyXCapital receives read-only balances and transactions. We never receive or store your online-banking credentials, and the data is never sold, never shared for marketing, never used for advertising and never used to train AI models.

MFA for everyone

A second factor is required for every MyXCapital account, not optional.

Encrypted at rest

Aggregator tokens and account numbers are encrypted at rest; HTTPS everywhere.

FAQ

Questions people ask before creating an account.

Who can use MyXCapital?

Anyone. Create your account with your email and a password, confirm the code we email you, pick a plan and connect your first bank. Two-factor authentication (a code by email or from an authenticator app) is optional and takes a minute to turn on. Prefer to talk first? Contact us.

How do bank connections work?

You connect each bank, card or credit union through Plaid, in a secure window that belongs to Plaid. MyXCapital receives read-only balances and transactions; your online-banking credentials never reach us and are never stored.

What do the alerts cover?

A payment coming due, due today or overdue; an overdraft fee your bank charged, or an account at risk of overdraft before upcoming payments; a card near its limit; and interest charged on a card. Alerts arrive as a daily email digest and, in the Android app, as push notifications.

How does invoicing work and what does it cost?

You create the invoice and your client pays it online with a card from a US bank or another supported method. A 4% + $0.30 processing fee is added for the payer, so you receive the full invoice amount. Online payment is available from $250 per invoice; smaller invoices can still be sent and marked paid by hand. Sales tax per invoice and instant deposit (for an additional 1.5%) are optional.

How much does MyXCapital cost?

Starter is $9.99 a month for 3 banks, Standard $17.99 for 6 banks and Premium $29.99 for 10 banks. Every plan gets 50% off the first month. Need more banks? Contact us for a custom quote. Subscriptions are bought on the web and can be changed or cancelled at any time.

Is there a mobile app?

MyXCapital works today on any phone from the browser and can be installed to your home screen. The Android app is built and is coming soon to Google Play.

Is my financial data sold or used for advertising?

No. Financial data is never sold, never shared for marketing, never used for advertising and never used to train AI models. The details are in the Xtra-Dev privacy policy.
